I am beyond thrilled to receive the endorsement of Personal PAC in my bid for re-election to the Cook County Board of Commissioners! Personal PAC has worked tirelessly for more than four decades to advance and protect reproductive freedoms across Illinois.
With the repeal of Roe v. Wade, reproductive freedoms are no longer constitutionally protected. Now it is up to state and local governments to enshrine those protections. We are lucky to live in a state with strong pro-choice laws that guarantee the right to safe, legal abortion for all who need it. But without a constitutional underpinning, those laws are only ever one election away from being overturned. That is why voting for pro-choice candidates has never been more important than now!
