“I’m incredibly excited about this endorsement because I got my start in activism volunteering for the Sierra Club in college. Having minored in Environmental Science, I know how critical it is that we take immediate strides toward a greener future. As County Commissioner I will fight to move the county as quickly as possible to transition to renewable energy sources. That is why I sponsored a resolution committing Cook County to be fully carbon neutral by 2030. I am committed to environmental justice for all Cook County residents.”
