Campaign to unseat IL Republican chair gets Cong. Jan Schakowsky endorsement
02/12/2018Today, candidate for Cook County Commissioner of the 15th District Kevin B. Morrison was endorsed by leading progressive champion Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky.
"Kevin is a tireless advocate who will bring a new perspective to the Cook County Board," said Congresswoman Schakowsky. "Kevin has worked tirelessly to make our community stronger and our schools more inclusive and if elected, Kevin will make history as the first openly LGBTQ person to serve on our Cook County board. I am proud to endorse Kevin Morrison for 15th District Cook County Commissioner."
Kevin B. Morrison is running against the current Chair of the Illinois Republican Party 15th District Cook County Commissioner Tim Schneider. Schneider is a supporter of President Trump and Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, who seek to destroy working families and the middle-class. Schneider's policies seek to only protect the millionaires in the district.
